Disfigured is a series where the human figure has been removed from the negative by cutting and burning. The landscape, originally the backdrop to a past fashion shoot, is reinstated in importance and the human form reduced to a disfigured shape within. The distorted, ambiguous forms suggest a human presence that has gone but provoke a reflection on our lasting impact on the environment once we have disappeared.
